NatureBridge is hosting a morning of birding in honor of Bird LA Day. Our talented environmental educators will lead fun, educational activities to transform your friends and family into birders. You will play games, go on a guided hike, and learn to identify our feathered friends that live in the Santa Monica Mountains. NatureBridge will provide binoculars, light snacks, and the opportunity to win prizes.

When:  May 7, 2016

Where:  Rancho Sierra Vista in Newbury Park, CA

Ventura Fwy (101) to Lynn Rd exit. South on Lynn Rd

             5.25 miles to Via Goleta. Park entrance is on the left.

RSVP:  Free event. Space is limited.

Please bring your own water bottles, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothes, such as a hat and layers. This is a family-friendly program great for kids of all ages. However, the trails are not stroller friendly; please plan accordingly. Please check your email on Friday, May 6 to see if heavy rain will cancel the program.

*Directions: From the intersection of Goleta & Potrero Roads, at the park’s main entrance, drive a half mile into the park to the largest parking lot, also known as the Car Park for Sycamore Canyon. We will assemble there. NatureBridge staff will be wearing black hats.
